Join our community
Become a member of the Association for Ethnogeology and Geoarcheology and contribute your knowledge, expertise, skills, and enthusiasm to further our projects. We encourage Indigenous peoples, geoarcheologists, geologists, designers, educators, artists, photographers, and anyone interested in the deep knowledge of Indigenous cultures to share their research, knowledge, and support. As we launch our website, memberships are free. Support our projects on our Projects page through contributions of your knowledge, skills, or a modest financial contribution.
Who should Join?
We welcome members from Indigenous communities, earth scientists, anthropologists, archeologists, soils scientists, and anyone interested in what science can learn about Earth history and processes from people who have lived with North American landscapes for 20,000 years or more, and vice-versa. If you're a student, educator, or simply a member of the general public with a passion for Indigenous cultures and earth sciences, we encourage you to join!
Member Benefits:
As a member, you'll have the opportunity to contribute your skills and knowledge to our projects, receive our digital twice-yearly newsletter, and be invited to special events like VIP openings of exhibits. As we grow, our member benefits will too, especially in ways that utilize and increase your knowledge and skills. You may join us in collecting and recording oral histories, help design an exhibit, contribute your talents in photography or video, help edit a publication, and in many other ways.

Support our Work
While membership is currently free, we encourage you to support our projects through contributions of your knowledge, skills, or a financial contribution. Your support helps us continue to connect Indigenous and scientific communities, offer free education and information, and promote a deeper understanding of Earth history and processes. If this sounds interesting, please complete the membership application form on Application page.
